Safety is built into every hire.
From verified vendors and insurance requirements to documented condition checks, the platform is designed to keep plant and tool hire safe on every UK site.
What we require, on every hire.
Verified vendors only
Every vendor is background-checked and approved by our team before a single listing goes live. Company details are confirmed against Companies House.
Insurance required
Vendors must hold valid public liability insurance to list. Hire equipment is covered while it's working on your site, not just sat in the yard.
Inspected & compliant
Lifting and powered equipment is maintained to LOLER and PUWER standards. Vendors confirm inspection status before dispatch.
Documented condition
Every hire records a dispatch checklist with photos and a return checklist on collection — so condition and damage are never a matter of opinion.
Digital hire agreement
Each booking is backed by a signed digital hire agreement setting out responsibilities, hire terms, and the deposit held for the duration.
Fair dispute resolution
If something goes wrong, our disputes process reviews the documented evidence from both sides before any deposit is charged or released.
Your part keeps it safe too.
We verify and insure the supply side. On site, the law puts the duty of safe use on the hirer. A few basics keep everyone protected.
- ✓Only let trained, competent operators use the equipment — and check any required licences or tickets.
- ✓Read the hire agreement and any vendor-supplied operating instructions before first use.
- ✓Inspect equipment on delivery and flag any damage on the dispatch checklist straight away.
- ✓Use the correct PPE and follow the manufacturer's safe working limits at all times.
- ✓Report faults or accidents to the vendor immediately — never keep using equipment you suspect is unsafe.
