Set the frame such that the bottle jack rests on the manhole’s outer rim with its other end on the cover. Next, pick the appropriate key size and fasten it to the holder with a threaded tip. Set the key in place and raise the bar’s threaded portion through the frame. The wingnut should be placed on the frame plate and tightened until the key is securely fastened. The cover will lift and the seal will be broken when you pump the bottle jack. The cap can now be raised with regular manhole keys.
